2-3 Farm crew positions open

Seasonal farm crew members are vital to the success of the farm. Duties include:

  • Harvest, wash, and pack produce for our weekly sales outlets.

    • We will train you on our high quality, cleanliness and consistency standards for our veggie products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining those standards.

  • Field work

    • Planting, bed prep, weeding, fertilizing, trellising , pruning, etc.

There is a heavier emphasis on field work during the shoulder seasons, and more harvest/wash/pack during the main summer season. The weekly work flow adjusts accordingly.

This work is fast paced, we use sharp knives, and harvest a lot of food in a day. It is fun and satisfying skilled work. As with all skills, you will build proficiency with effort and time.

You may also be scheduled to work at our farmers market booth in Manzanita or at our weekly farm stand/CSA pickup. These shifts consist of packing and unpacking the van, setting up the booth, selling vegetables, chatting with customers, breaking down the display, and unloading back at the farm.


Our ideal candidate: 

  • Prompt and reliable

  • Comfortable with physically demanding work in all weather conditions

  • Basic knowledge of eating and buying vegetables

  • Comfortable working alone and in small groups

  • Detail oriented, focused and enjoys fast paced work.

  • Proficient at doing basic mental math.

  • Previous farm, restaurant, or team sport experience valued but not required

Please note that farm work is physically demanding and can be repetitive. The work requires repeated bending, lifting, and lots of standing. You will need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs off of the ground safely. We’ve made investments in systems and equipment to minimize wear and tear on our bodies, but the work is still physically demanding.

We work in all weather conditions.  The Oregon coast can be a very wet place.  closed-toe shoes, Waterproof boots, jacket, and bibs/pants are a requirement.

You must have access to transportation to and from the farm.

Our Hiring process:

  • First interviews will be via zoom/Google Meet. Approximately 30-45 mins.

  • Second interviews will be in person, on farm if within driving distance. Approximately 1 hour.
